9.7.3 Therapy Master Cable
1. Clean the therapy master cable with soap solution.
Prevent moisture entering the plug connector.
3. Dry the plug connection thoroughly.
Disinfect the therapy master cable with a disinfectant itemised in the current
disinfectant list of the RKI.
9.7.4 Cables for Monitoring Functions
1. Clean the following cables with soap solution:
• ECG monitoring cable
• Complementary ECG diagnostic cable
• corPatch CPR intermediate cable
• CO
2
intermediate cable
• Oximetry intermediate cable
Prevent moisture entering the plug connector.
4. Dry the plug connections thoroughly.
Clean the cables mentioned above with one of the disinfectants included in the
current list of disinfectants of the RKI.
9.7.5 Oximetry Sensor
Caution
Do not immerse oximetry sensors and cables in liquids.
No liquid must enter the sensor components or plugs.
Please read and follow the operating instructions from the Masimo company
enclosed with the oximetry sensors.
1. Disinfect the oximetry sensors and oximetry cables with one of the
disinfectants included in the current list of disinfectants of the RKI.
2. Let dry the oximetry sensors and oximetry cables thoroughly.
