The time span after which the printer stops automatically can be pre-set in the
printer configuration. For more information see chapter 7.1.3 Printer settings,
p. 143.
The softkeys (Fig. 4-1, item 12) are assigned different functions, depending on
the current operating mode or selected dialogue. The current function is
displayed in the softkey line.
By pressing the Alarm key (Fig. 4-1, item 1), the alarm history of all
physiological and technical alarms is called up. All the alarms which have
occurred appear in this list with their time of occurrence.
1. Press the Alarm key to retrieve the alarm history.
2. Press the Alarm key to confirm the alarm.
3. Repeat step 2 until all alarms have been confirmed.
Severe technical alarms reported by the alarm system cannot be deleted from
the alarm history and are marked in red type.
Physiological alarms can be suspended for a selected time span (up to 120 sec
or permanently; see chapter 7.4.5 Alarm Configuration (Persons Responsible
for the Device), page 166) by pressing the Alarm key for approx. 3 sec.
Technical alarms cannot be suspended.
For the alarm suspension, a maximum period of 60 seconds is recommended
(see also chapter 7.4.5 Alarm Configuration (Persons Responsible for the
Device), p. 166).
Pressing the Event key (Fig. 4-1, item 2) records a time stamp which marks the
current ECG data and vital parameter values. Based on this marking, this data
can subsequently be located in the data memory, viewed and assessed.
If voice recording is enabled, pressing the Event key also stores a 15 second
recording of the surrounding noises (5 sec. before and 10 sec. after pressing
the key).
Pressing the Event key appears as a “Event recorded” in the log.
If the lead DE should be represented in the monitoring mode, select this via the
curve context menu (see chapter 4.3.2 Parameter Context Menu and Curve
Context Menu, page 47).
