4.6 Connecting Voltage Cords to Objects
Be sure to read “Wiring” (p. 12).
Connect the voltage cords to the measuring objects while checking the WIRING, wiring settings
screen.
Use alligator clips or Model 9243 Grabber Clip.
Securely clip the cords to metal parts such as bus bars
and screws on the secondary side of the breaker.

Using Model 9804-01 (9804-02) Magnetic Adapter
Connect the magnetic adapter to the screws on the
secondary side of the breaker.

Magnetic Adapter
The weight of the voltage cords may prevent you from
making a perpendicular connection between the magnetic
adapter and the head of the screw.
In this case, connect each cord such that it hangs off the
adapter in a manner that balances its weight. Check the
voltage values to verify that the connections have been
made securely.
