Functional Specications
10.3 Functional Specications
Auto-ranging
Function The voltage and current ranges for each wiring conguration are automatically switched in
response to the input.
(excluding motor input ranges)
Operating mode O󰀨/on (selectable for each wiring conguration)
Action The auto-ranging is disabled for all channels when integration starts. (In case of integration by
wiring conguration, auto-ranging for all channels is disabled when integration of any one of
the wiring congurations starts.)
Measured values for the corresponding wiring conguration or motor input when the range
changes become invalid. However, data for other wiring congurations is not a󰀨ected.
The waveform’s period may become longer than the invalidation period if the synchronization
frequency is low. In this case, measured values will take longer to stabilize than the invalid
data displaying period.
This a󰀨ects not only auto-range switching, but also manual range switching.
Auto-ranging
scope
The range is switched over to a one immediately above if there is even one channel that
meets either of the following conditions:
an rms value is not less than 105% of range, or
a peak value is not less than +280% of range or not more than −280% of range.
The range is switched over to a one immediately below if all channels’ rms values are not
more than 40% of range. (However, the range is not switched if a peak-over condition occurs
at the range immediately below.)
When the
Δ
-Y conversion is enabled, whether the voltage range is switched or not is
determined by multiplying the range by
1
3
.
All of the rms and peak values used for determining the range are instantaneous (not
averaged) values.
Time control
Function Other functions are controlled based on the time.
There are three types available: timer control, real time control, and interval control.
Operation
Timer control: Stops once the set amount of time has elapsed.
Real time control: Starts at the specied time and stops at the specied time.
Interval: Repeats control at set intervals from the time operation starts until it stops.
Timer control O󰀨, 1 s to 9999 h 59 min. 59 s (in 1 s increments)
Real time control O󰀨, start time, stop time (in 1s increments)
Interval O󰀨, 10 ms, 50 ms, 200 ms, 500 ms, 1 s, 5 s, 10 s, 15 s, 30 s
1 min., 5 min., 10 min., 15 min., 30 min., 60 min.
However, the interval cannot be less than the data refresh interval.
The maximum number of parameters to be saved is determined based on this setting.
