9.4 Sending Data Using the FTP Client Function
Any les saved on a USB ash drive connected to the instrument can be sent to the FTP server of
the computer.
Specify the IP address of the computer with the FTP server on the instrument.
Register the username and password of the instrument in the FTP server of the computer as well.
FTP servers, such as Windows

FTP server can be used.
When sending data with low available space on the USB ash drive
Select [SYSTEM] and then [COM], and set [Delete les after upload] to [ON].
The les of the instrument are deleted after they are sent to the FTP server.
Data can be sent automatically or manually.

Setting automatic le upload
Any les saved in the USB ash drive connected to the instrument can be sent to the FTP server of
the computer automatically.
The following shows an example of sending data to FTP server 192.168.1.1.
Instrument
(e.g., 192.168.1.2)

(e.g., 192.168.1.1)
Operating procedure

Set and connect the LAN on the instrument.

Set the FTP server on the receiving side (computer).

Run FTP-auto-send on the instrument.

Congure the auto-save settings on the instrument.

Start measurement on the instrument.
When the auto-save is completed on the instrument, the les are automatically uploaded to the FTP server of
the computer.

Check the communication between the instrument and computer.
