Controlling the Instrument with Communications Commands
Uploading les manually
Any les saved in the USB ash drive connected to the instrument can be sent to the FTP server of
the computer anytime.
Only les can be manually sent. No folders can be sent manually.
Operating procedure

Set and connect the LAN on the instrument.
See “9.1 Connecting and Setting the LAN Interface” (p. 158).

Set the FTP server on the receiving side (computer).

Congure the FTP client using the instrument.

Send les to the FTP server on the [FILE] screen.

Congure the FTP client.

The le is transferred to the specied FTP

Communications Commands
The computer sends communications commands, which can control the instrument and
communicate with it.
Connect the instrument and computer using an RS-232C, GP-IB, or LAN cable.
