Connecting the Voltage Cords (Voltage Input)
2.2 Connecting the Voltage Cords (Voltage Input)
Connect the voltage cords (optional) to the voltage input terminals. Connect as many cords as
required based on the lines to be measured and the wiring conguration.
DANGER
Do not cause a short circuit between the wire to be measured and
another wire with the metallic parts of the tips of the voltage cord.
Doing so can cause arc ash, resulting in serious bodily injury or damage to the
instrument or other equipment.
Never touch the metal areas on test leads or at the tips of voltage cords
during measurement.
Doing so could result in serious bodily injury or a short circuit.
WARNING
Disconnect power to the line under measurement before connecting the
test leads.
Failure to do so could damage the instrument, resulting in bodily injury.
When using the instrument, use only Hioki-specied connection cords.
Using a cord other than the specied parts could cause bodily injury or a short circuit.
See “Optional products for voltage measurement” (p. 3).
IMPORTANT
To ensure accurate measurement, rmly insert the voltage cords completely.
