Functional Specications
Hold function
(1) Hold
Functions Stops updating display of all measured values, freezing the presently on-screen gures.
However, updating continues for waveforms, the clock, and on-screen peak-over conditions.
Internal calculations, for example integration and averaging, continue.
Cannot be used in combination with the peak hold function.
Operating mode O󰀨/on
Action Pressing the HOLD key can activate the function, lighting up the HOLD key and displaying the
hold icon on the screen.
Pressing the PEAK HOLD key can refresh data when the hold function has been enabled.
Data is refreshed at the internal data intervals (which is distinct from the display refresh
interval).
Output data Internally retained frozen data is outputted as analog output and stored on a USB ash drive.
(However, waveform output continues).
Backup None (The function is disabled when the instrument is turned o󰀨.)
Constraint While the hold function is activated, settings that a󰀨ect measured values cannot be changed.
(2) Peak hold
Function The display is refreshed by replacing all measured values with the maximum values obtained
by comparing the absolute values for each measured value (excluding Upk and Ipk). However,
the waveform display and integrated values continue to be refreshed by replacing them with
instantaneous data.
During average operation, the maximum value a󰀨ects values measured after averaging.
Cannot be used in combination with the hold function.
Operating mode O󰀨/on
Action Pressing the PEAK HOLD key can activate the function, lighting up the PEAK HOLD key and
displaying the peak hold icon on the screen.
Pressing the PEAK HOLD key again can turn the function o󰀨.
When the hold function is enabled, data is updated when the HOLD key is pressed.
Data is refreshed at the internal data intervals (which is distinct from the display refresh
interval).
Output data During the peak-hold operation, internally retained peak-hold data is outputted as analog
output and stored on a USB ash drive. (However, waveform output continues).
Backup None (The function is disabled when the instrument is turned o󰀨.)
Constraint While the hold or peak-hold function is activated, settings that a󰀨ect measured values cannot
be changed.
