Manual Configuration Using the CLI
The following example shows how to set to set the security key value using
the wpa-pre-shared-key command.
Note Supported stations must be WPA-enabled and configured with the same
personal key.
The personal key must be a string of 8 to 63 characters.
Shared secret keys can include spaces and special characters if the key is
placed inside quotation marks (as in “goodsecret !”). If the key is a string of
characters with no spaces or special characters in it, the quotation marks are
not necessary.
Using the CLI to Configure WPA-802.1X. The following commands
configure the access point to use the WPA-802.1X security mode, to accept
both the WPA and WPA2 stations, and to allow pre-authentication.
Note WPA-802.1X is the recommended security mode. The incorporation of the
RADIUS server makes it superior to the WPA-PSK security mode.
