4.3.1 Preparing a Monitoring Cable
Prerequisites
● A twisted pair, cord end terminal, and RJ45 connector are prepared.
● The following tools are prepared:
– Wire stripper
– Crimping tool
– RJ11 crimping tool
– Electrician's knife
– Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation tape
