Step 1 Configure reachable routes between the Switch and the NMSs. The configuration procedure is
not mentioned.
Step 2 Configure the SNMP version.

Step 3 Enable the extended error code function on the SNMP agent.
# Enable the extended error code function on the SNMP agent.
[Quidway] snmp-agent extend error-code enable
Step 4 Check the configuration.
# Check whether the extended error code function is enabled on the SNMP agent.
