6.23.2 Creating an NQA MTrace Test
This part describes how to configure an MTrace instance before performing the MTrace test for
the RPF path from the multicast source to the destination host.
Context
Do as follows on the switch that functions as the NQA client:
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
nqa test-instance admin-name test-name
An NQA test instance is created and the test instance view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
test-type mtrace
The test type is set to MTrace.
Step 4 Run:
quit
Exit from the test instance view.
