4.4 Maintaining LLDP
This section describes how to debug and monitor the LLDP function and how to clear the
statistics of LLDP.

Procedure
l Run the reset lldp statistics [ interface interface-type interface-number ] command in the
user view to clear statistics of LLDP packets.

l Run the display lldp local [ interface interface-type interface-number ] command to
display the status of LLDP enabled globally or enabled on an interface.
l Run the display lldp statistics [ interface interface-type interface-number ] command to
display the statistics of LLDP packets on an interface.
l Run the display lldp neighbor [ interface interface-type interface-number ] command to
display neighbor information about an interface.
l Run the debugging lldp { all | interface interface-type interface-number | event |
packet } command in the user view to enbale the debugging of the LLDP.
