This part describes how to set the interval for uploading the statistics file. When the upload
interval expires, the system uploads the statistics file to the NM Station.
1.16.7 (Optional) Configuring the Period for Reserving the Statistics File
This part describes how to set the period for reserving the statistics before performing the
collection function. The reservation period ensures the system has enough time to transmit the
statistics file.
1.16.8 (Optional) Configuring the Maximum Times to Re-upload the Statistics File
This part describes how to configure the maximum retransmission times before performing the
collection function. During the reservation period, the file that is failed to be uploaded is
reuploaded until the maximum retransmission times are reached.
1.16.9 Specifying the Upload Mode of the Statistics File
The statistics file is preferentially reuploaded through primary URL. If the primary URL fails,
the secondary URL is used. If the secondary URL also fails, the switch waits for the next reupload
interval to reupload the statistics file.
1.16.10 Enabling the Statistics File
After all parameters of the performance batch collection function are set, you can enable the
statistics file to collect the data needed by the NM Station.
1.16.11 Checking the Configuration
After the performance batch collection function is configured, you can view corresponding
parameters.
1.16.1 Establishing the Configuration Task
Before configuring the performance batch collection function, familiarize yourself with the
applicable environment, complete the pre-configuration tasks, and obtain the required data. This
can help you complete the configuration task quickly and accurately.
Applicable Environment
In the scenario where a device collects statistics about multiple objects, you can configure this
function to enable the device to form statistics into a statistics file and deliver the file to the NM
Station through the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or the Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP).

Before configuring batch statistics collection, complete the following tasks:
l Ensuring that the switch runs normally
l Correctly configuring an IP address for the interface on the switch
l Configuring routes between the switch and the NM Station
