Data Preparation
To complete the configuration, you need the following data:
l Host addresses of Switch B and Switch C
l Time when the test group is enabled
Procedure
Step 1 Configure reachable routes between Switch A and Switch B, between Switch A and Switch C,
and between Switch B and Switch C. The configuration details are not mentioned here.
Step 2 Create an ICMP NQA test group on Switch A.
<SwitchA> system-view
[SwitchA] nqa test-instance group icmp
[SwitchA-nqa-group-icmp] test-type icmp
[SwitchA-nqa-group-icmp] switch-to group
[SwitchA-nqa-group-icmp] quit
Step 3 On Switch A, create two tests named admin test1 and admin test2 respectively to check whether
Switch B and Switch C are reachable.
[SwitchA] nqa test-instance admin test1
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test1] test-type icmp
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test1] join group nqa group icmp
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test1] destination-address ipv4 10.1.1.2
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test1] quit
[SwitchA] nqa test-instance admin test2
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test2] test-type icmp
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test2] join group nqa group icmp
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test2] destination-address ipv4 10.2.1.2
[SwitchA-nqa-admin-test2] quit
Step 4 Return to the test group view and set the test to be performed after 10 seconds.
[SwitchA] nqa test-instance group icmp
[SwitchA-nqa-group-icmp] start delay seconds 10
# After running the display nqa-agent command, you can view the status of the test group and
the test members on the client.
[SwitchA-nqa-group-icmp] display nqa-agent

Step 5 Verify the test result 20 seconds later.
