Quality Assurance
QA Phantom Test
The following Quality Assurance Tests can be conducted by the Owner / Operator
of the device. It is recommended that the System Quality Assurance be performed
annually or if image quality becomes degraded. For this purpose, the following
procedures are provided with a QA Phantom Test and QA Water Test.
This procedure is performed to check the High Contrast Spatial Resolution.
1. Remove Chin Cup and insert Phantom Platform.
2. Place QA Phantom on Platform. Use a piece of foam beneath the
phantom to elevate it.
3. Use the alignment lasers to adjust the Phantom Platform height.
Adjust the height so that the Horizontal Laser is positioned at the
center of the QA Phantom.
