RADAR 3.50
REFERENCE
201
This preference setting enables and disables the AUTO
RECLAIM function. AUTO RECLAIM automatically frees
up disk space when deleted audio “falls off” the UNDO
list.
It is recommended to leave AUTO
RECLAIM ENABLED.
When using multiple RADAR units at higher sample
rates, this feature allows all of the metering to be grouped
together on the master machine. For example two non-
Adrenaline Plus RADARs operating at 96 kHz with 12
tracks per unit could have
all 24 tracks of metering displayed on a single
MeterBridge 24. The selections are:
NORMAL
COMPACT
NORMAL refers to 12 tracks of metering available per
Meterbridge for 96 kHz RADARLink projects and 6
tracks of metering available per Meterbridge for 192 kHz
projects.
COMPACT refers to 48 tracks of metering available per
single 48-channel Meterbridge for 96 kHz and higher
RADARLink projects.
The incoming AES digital signal has the capability of
indicating the sample rate of the source. RADAR is
capable of interpreting this indicative flag. There are
some cases where the incoming AES source doesn’t
indicate the sample rate which causes RADAR to
mistakenly display a XXXKHZ ILLEGAL error message.
Enabling the IGNORE AES FLAGS will remove this error
message.
This preference will activate/deactivate the MAKE DISK
PORTABLE prompt when unmounting a disk.
This preference allows selection between 800 X 600 or
1024 X 768 graphics resolution. The default is set to
1024 X 768 high resolution. RADAR will need to be
rebooted for the changes to take effect.
