iZ Technology Corporation
When attempting to BROWSE: or EXPORT TO: a CD that hasn’t been finalized but has
had one or more tracks burned to it the display will indicate B:CD-R OPEN.
Once CD burn begins the procedure becomes a background task and cannot be
cancelled. However, the RADAR can still be used for record/playback/edit.
The export is complete once the EXPORT COMPLETE PRESS ANY BUTTON dialogue appears
or CD burn is finished. If finalize CD is selected, the CD will eject once the burn completes. If
finalize the CD is not selected, the CD will remain in the drive.
After you have finished using a USB drive, make sure you unmount it before unplugging it
from RADAR. You can access the MOUNT/UNMOUNT dialog via the DISK MENU or by
pressing + UNMNT on the Session Controller.
Cancel a folder/directory export at any time by pressing the key.
CLIP EXPORT
This feature is only available via the Session Controller and was designed to create a more efficient
process for those who export quite often while working within one project. For example, this feature is
useful during the comp of a lead vocal where pitch correction is being added via third-party software on a
different workstation. After completing the first export, each subsequent clip export will bypass the FILE
FORMAT:, EXPORT TO: and SELECT FOLDER: dialogs thereby eliminating redundant parameter
selections.
To export a clip (region) of audio:
Press the key on the Session Controller. If this is the first export since powering up
the RADAR, proceed to step 2. Otherwise, skip ahead to step 5.
