Syntax
OUTPut:POLarity {NORMal | INVerted}
OUTPut:POLarity?
Description
This command selects the polarity of the signal that will be generated on the Gate In/Out BNC when out-
put of this signal is enabled by OUTPut:STATe ON:
l NORMal selects a positive-going output
l INVerted selects a negative-going output
Remarks
l The instrument selects normal polarity after a Factory Reset (*RST command) or an Instrument Preset
(SYSTem:PRESet command).
Return Format
The query returns the output polarity: NORM or INV.
Examples
The following example enables generation of a negative-going measurement compete on the Gate In/Out
BNC.
