SYSTem:VERSion?
Syntax
SYSTem:VERSion?
Description
This command returns the version of the SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments)
standard with which the instrument is in compliance. The instrument complies with the rules and con-
ventions of the indicated version of the SCPI standard.
You cannot query the SCPI version from the front panel.
Return Format
The query returns 1994.0.
Example
The following example returns the SCPI version.
SYST:VERS?
Typical Response: 1994.0
