Chapter 4: Maintenance and Servicing
The following instructions are provided to assist you in the use of the header. Detailed maintenance and service
information is contained in the technical service manual that is available from your Dealer. A parts catalog is provided with
your shipment.
4.1 Preparing for Servicing
Observe all safety precautions before beginning service on the machine.
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury, before servicing the header or opening the drive covers:
• Fully lower the header. If necessary to service in the raised position, always engage the safety props.
• Place all controls in NEUTRAL or PARK.
• Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
• Wait for all moving parts to stop.
