4.14.9 Installing Conditioner Gearbox
Follow this procedure to install the conditioner drive gearbox.
DANGER
To avoid bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.
1. Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.

2. Open driveshield (A). For instructions, refer to 4.2 Opening/
Closing Driveshield, page 126.

3. Position gearbox (B) as shown, picking up the three holes in
the endsheet and secure the gearbox with three flanged
lock nuts (A). Do NOT fully tighten the nuts.
