6100 Series
6100- Unable to establish the TCP connection with the instrument.
Cause: A communications problem between the computer and the analyzer
has occurred.
Action A: Check the cable connection between the computer and the analyzer.
Action B: Select Unit [n] > Unit
Configuration from the main menu and verify
that the TCP/IP configuration for the computer and the analyzer are
correct.
Action C: Exit the 2460 application and turn off th
e analyzer. Then turn on the
analyzer and restart the 2460 application. If the problem persists, con-
tact your Micromeritics representative.
6101- Configured serial number does not match instrument.
Cause: The serial number of the instrument is different than the serial number
the application expects.
Action: Run the setup program on the installation CD; choose the Re
move
operation to remove the incorrect serial number. Then choose the Add
operation to add the correct serial number.
6102- The instrument (unit number) is not calibrated.
Cause: One or more calibration operations have not been performed.
Action: If using the setup CD, reinstall the calibrati
on files. If this does not cor-
rect the problem, contact your Micromeritics representative.
