Return Air Filters
Frequently clean the return air filters. The filters are located inside the A/C behind the intake vent covers.
Access filters by lowering the decorative ceiling panel using a ratchet and a 7/16" socket with an extension.
The panel is secured with hinges on the curb side and bolts on the road side. The living room panel is heavy.
Remove the two end bolts first. Remove the center bolt while holding panel in place and gently lower panel.
The filters are secured in place with screws. Operating the air conditioner without the return air filters in
place may plug the evaporator core with dirt and substantially affect the performance of the air conditioner.
NOTE:
To prevent scratching the mirrored surface when accessing filters, place a protective
barrier, such as a cotton towel, between the mirrored surface and work area of any
tools.
To Clean:
• Wash filters in warm soapy water. Do not use solvents.
• Rinse filters thoroughly with fresh water. Allow them to dry.
• Install filters and secure the intake vent covers.
Auto Temp Start
The Auto Temp Start (ATS) system will automatically engage the generator when interior tempera-
tures rise to a temperature set point programmed into the ATS Control Module to provide 120 Volt AC
power to the roof air conditioners. This feature is useful when high temperatures are expected and the
motorhome is not hooked to shore power.
ATS Control Module Features:
Adjustable temperature start between 65° and 85° F.
Adjustable generator run time between one and five hours.
• Test button to confirm generator start up.
The temperature setting on the ATS Control Module senses interior temperature, and when a preset temper-
ature is reached, the generator engages to operate the roof A/C in order to maintain preferred interior tempera-
ture. Time setting on the ATS Control Module determines how long the generator will run before the ATS
system disengages the generator.
