Setting up Remote Account Management
Remote Account Management, allows you to manage Accounts and/or Operator PIN Codes
from a PC-based software program (MAS).
MAS provides advanced postage and/or shipping expense management in order to monitor,
track and control your mailing and shipping costs.
Activating Remote Account Management
To activate the Remote Account Management Feature:
1.
Connect the PC to the Mailing System and start up MAS on the PC: see the
diagram in Connections on page 24 and the MAS User Guide.
2.
On the Mailing System, activate the Remote Account Management Mode: For
details please see How to activate 'Remote Account Management' Mode on page 113
, set out below.
3.
Configure the required Accounts and the active Operators in MAS: For details
please see the MAS User Guide.
If Operators or Accounts have already been created on your Mailing
System they will be deleted by MAS when you switch to the Remote
Account Management Mode. .
How to activate 'Remote Account Management' Mode
From the Account Mode Management Screen (see ):
1. Select the path: Account Mode Selection (or type 5 ).
The Account Mode Selection Screen appears with the current 'Account Mode' selected.
2. Select Remote Account Management and press [OK] .
The following Screen appears.
