Stacking options
The IS-5000 offers two tray options and a motorized Conveyor Stacker option to collect
and stack processed mail.
Each stacking option offers a different level of stacking capacity:

Catch Tray
•
Drop Tray
•
Motorized Conveyor Stacker.
The greater the stacking capacity is, the more efficiently your mail is processed.
Catch Tray
The Catch Tray is the most basic type of mail stacker. It attaches to the right side of your
Mailing System at the end of the print path. It offers the smallest footprint, and holds the
smallest volume of processed mail.
Drop Tray
The Drop Tray is mounted to the end of a table and sits lower than the table top. The Drop
Tray provides greater envelope stacking capacity, while still maintaining a small footprint.
