4. Place your envelopes in the hopper against the rear wall and covering the optical
(clear) sensor. Be sure that all envelopes in the stack are against the rear wall.
Ensure that all envelopes are stacked along the rear guide, from the largest to the
smallest.
5. Adjust the high stack side guide. To adjust the guide, push gently against the
envelopes, but do not push it tightly against the stack.
Do not try to seal envelopes that have self adhesive tape. Close
them before feeding.
Thickness setting:
Depending on the thickness of your envelopes, you may have to adjust the thickness
setting of the Mixed Mail Feeder. Change this setting to process several stacks of thin
envelopes or to remove thick envelopes blocked at the entrance of the mail path.
