76 Chapter 2 Use the Océ TDS700 to print a job
Print a job in the 'Scheduled jobs'
Job management in the 'Scheduled jobs'
Print a job in the 'Scheduled jobs'
Introduction
When a user sends a print job to the Océ TDS700, the job appears in the 'Print jobs'
workspace. You can set the print job destination in the print job to determine if the
job goes directly to the 'Scheduled jobs' or if the job goes to the 'Waiting jobs'.
Before you begin
Create a print job on a networked workstation and use the printer driver or the job
submission software to send the job to the Océ TDS700. Make sure you have
sufficient permissions when you log on to the Océ TDS700 Power Logic
®
controller
application.
'Anonymous' - permission
Repro operator - permission
Key operator - permission
System administrator - permission
Note: It can occur that the workflow setting of the 'Scheduled jobs' sends all the jobs
to the 'Waiting jobs'. This setting does not overrule the print job destination of the
print job when it is set in the print job submssion tool. In this case, you must find the
print job in the 'Waiting jobs' and print the job from there to the 'Scheduled jobs'.
How to print a job in the 'Scheduled jobs'
1. Click 'Print jobs' in the vertical icon toolbar on the left hand side of the screen.
2. Find the job in the 'Scheduled jobs'.
The jobs in the 'Scheduled jobs' are printed in the same order in which they are
shown.
Result
When the job turns active the Océ TDS700 starts the print process. Jobs that are
active can no longer be modified. These jobs are displayed in bold and in a
contrasting colour. It is still possible to delete or interrupt the job.
