Digital Wrench™ Communication Errors
If you experience problems connecting to a vehicle or any
Digital Wrench™ related problem, vis it the Digit al

Digital Wrench™ - Diagnostic Connector
Located under the dash connected to a sealed plug.
Follow these steps to con nect the d iagnostic interface
ca
ble to the vehicle to allow Digital Wrench™ use:
1. Assemble the SmartLink Module and attach the PC
In
terface Cable to your laptop (see page 4.3).
2. Remove the protective cap from the Digital Wrench™
co
nnector.
3. Connect the Veh icle In terface Cab le to the Dig ital
Wr
ench™ diagnostic connector.
4. Turn the ignition key to the ‘
ON’ position, selec t the
appropriate vehicle and wait for the status to display
‘Connected’ in the lower left corner of the screen.
5. Once connected, pr oceed wit h us ing Digital
Wr
ench™.
