6.Cleanthehydraulicpumpandallhydraulicconnectionstopreventhydraulic

8.Disconnectthehosesandtubesfromthettingsonthehydraulicpump(s)
andallowthehydrauliclinestodrainintoasuitablecontainer.
9.Installcleancapsorplugsontheopeningsofpumpanddisconnectedlines
topreventcontamination.
10.Disconnectthetractioncableballjointfromthepumplever.Loosenthe
tractioncablejamnutsandremoverthecablefromthecablebracket;referto
TractionPedal,Cable,andControlAssembly(page7–11).
11.Disconnectthewireharnessconnectorfromthetractionneutralswitch.
IMPORTANT
Thetotalweightofthetractionpumpandgearpumpassembled
isapproximately31kg(68lb).
Usealiftorhoistthatcansupporttheweightofthepumpassembly
beforeremovingthepumpmountingbolts.
12.Removethefastenerssecuringthepump(s)tothemachineandcarefully
removethepump(s)outtherightsideofthemachine.
13.Ifnotpreviouslyremoved,separatethegearpumpfromthetractionpump;
refertoRemovingtheGearPump(page5–75).
14.Ifnecessary,removethetractioncontrolassemblyfromthetractionpump;
refertoRemovingandInstallingtheTractionControlComponents(page
7–11).
15.Ifnecessary,removethehydraulicttingsfromthepump.Recordthe
locationsandorientationsofthettingsforassemblypurposes.
16.RemoveanddiscardalltheO-ringsfromthehydraulichoses,tubes,and
ttingsthatweredisconnectedorremoved.

(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–9).
4.Carefullylowerthepumpassemblyintothemachineandsecurethepump
withthepreviouslyremovedfasteners.
