8.Installcleancapsandplugsonthehydraulictubes,hoses,andttingsto
preventsystemcontamination.
9.Labelanddisconnectthewireharnessconnectorsfromthesolenoidvalves.
10.Supportthemanifoldassembly,removethefastenersandlowerthemanifold
assemblyfromthemachine.
11.Dismantlethemanifoldassemblyifnecessary;refertoHydraulicManifold
Service(page5–90).

1.Ensurethatallmanifoldcomponentsareproperlyinstalledpriortoinstalling
themanifoldintothemachine;refertoHydraulicManifoldService(page
5–90).
2.Fitthemanifoldtothemachineandsecureitwiththepreviouslyremoved
fasteners.Tightenthecapscrewsfrom36to44N·m(27to33ft-lb).
3.Removethecapsandplugsthenconnectthehydraulictubesandhosesto
themanifoldttings;refertoInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes(O-Ring
FaceSealFitting)(page5–7).
4.Connectthewireharnessconnectorstothesolenoidvalves.
5.Installanewhydraulicuidlter:
A.Fillthelterwithhydraulicuidandlubricatetheltergasketwith
hydraulicuid.
B.Ensurethatthelter-mountingareaiscleanandscrewthelteronuntil
thegasketcontactsthemanifold.
C.Tightenthelteranadditional1/2turn.
