releasethedrivebelttension.
4.Slipthedrivebeltoffthestationaryidlerpulleythenunloadtheidlerspring
tension.
5.RotatethecuttingunittotheSERVICEposition;refertothetractionunit

6.Inspectthepulleybearingandspacershaftfordamageorwear.Replacethe
pulleyand/orthespacerifnecessary.
Note:Thepulleyspacerhasalocatingfeaturethatmusttintothelocating
holeinthedeck.Thebottomofthepulleyspacermusttatagainstthe
deckonceinstalled.
7.Installthestationaryidler.Tightenthelocknutfrom45to55N·m(33to
41ft-lb).
8.Lowerthecuttingunitandinstallthedrivebeltandbeltcovers.
