RefertoFigure134forthisprocedure.
1.Installabearingintothebottomofthespindlehousingbypressingequally
ontheinnerandouterraceofthebearing.Ensurethatthebearingseats
againsttheshoulderofthebearingbore.
2.Insertthebearingspacer.
Note:Usethespindleshafttoalignthebearingsandbearingspacerduring
assembly.
3.Supporttheinnerandouterraceofthepreviouslyinstalledbearing,then
installabearingintothetopofthespindlehousingbypressingequallyonthe
innerandouterraceofthebearing.Ensurethatthebearingseatsagainst
thebearingspacer.
4.Insertthebottomguardandthespindleshaftintothespindlehousing.
5.Installthebearingguard,pulley,discspringwasher,andlocknut.Tightenthe
locknutfrom176to217N·m(130to160ft-lb).
