Markortagthevariouselectricalconnectionsduringremovalif
necessarytoassureproperassembly.
Topreventdamagetotheelectricalwireharnesses,cabletiesand
clampsmaybeusedtosecurewireharnessestothemachine.
Recordthelocationofallcabletiesandclampsthatareremoved
fromthemachineduringengineremovalsothattheycanbeproperly
replacedduringinstallation.
6.Disconnectalloftheelectricalconnectionsattheengine.

Fuelsolenoid(model31900and31901only)
Oilpressureswitch
Glowplugs
Coolanttemperaturesender(model31900and31901only)
DPFpressuresensor(model31902,31903,31907and31909only)

Ontherightsideoftheengine:
Fusiblelinkconnector
Startersolenoid
Alternatorconnector

7.Removethefastenerssecuringthewireharnessgroundandbatterynegative
(-)cabletotheengineblock(lowerfrontleftcorner).
8.Usea1/2inchsquaredriveonthehydraulicpumpdrivebeltidlerarmto
relievethebelttensionandremovethebeltfromthepumppulley.
9.DisconnectthecuttingunitdriveshaftatthePTOclutch.
10.RemovethePTOclutchstopstrap.
CAUTION
Makesurethatthehoistorliftusedtoremovetheenginecan
properlysupporttheengine.Theengineassemblyweighs
approximately:
Model31900and31901=150kg(330lbs)
Model31902and31903=204kg(450lbs)
Model31907and31909=172kg(380lbs)
