12.Removethe3locknuts,snubbingwashers,spacersandcapscrews
securingtheenginemountstotheenginebrackets.
CAUTION
Use1persontooperatetheliftorhoistwhiletheotherperson
guidestheenginefromthemachine.
IMPORTANT
Whenremovingtheengineensurethatyoudonotdamagethe
engine,fuelhoses,hydrauliclines,electricalharnessesorother
parts.
13.Carefullyraisetheenginefromthemachinemovingittowardtherearof
themachine.
14.Checktheconditionofthemotormountsandreplaceifnecessary.Ensure
thatthebatterynegative(-)cableissecuredtooneofthefrontleftmotor
mountfasteners.
15.Continuetodisassembletheengineifnecessary.
16.Coverorplugallengineopeningstopreventcontaminantsfromentering
theengine.

IMPORTANT
Ensurethatallpartsareremovedfromtheengineduring
maintenanceoroverhaularecorrectlyinstalledontheengine.
1.Iffrontenginemountbracketswereremovedfromtheengine,tightenthe
brackettoenginefastenersfrom46to57N·m(34to42ft-lb).
2.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothestubshaftbeforeinstallingthesquarekey
andPTOclutch.
3.Placethepumpdrivebeltinpositiononthestubshaft.
