The spreadsheet has the following four tabs:
1.QMR Parameters
2.Compensation Template
3.Compensation Chart
4.Chart data.
Select the File Menu > Save As option and assign a name associated with the
product being tested.
Open the first tab and enter the Test part reference, Step times and Test pressure in
the respective fields. Note: the test pressure must be entered as an absolute
pressure (i.e., when working in bar, add 1bar to the set pressure). The remaining
fields are protected and will automatically display the calculated values required to
compensate for temperature effects at the end of the set up procedure.
Select the Compensation Template tab and ensure that the display area is at the
top of the page displaying “Ambient Products” will be displayed in Column “A”.
8.10.4.2 Establishing Calibration Compensation
The spreadsheet expects 10 results, but if there are fewer parts available, they can
be tested more than once, providing there is a suitable delay between repeat tests.
Alternatively, if the first two or three results are very similar, a judgement could be
made to simply copy these results over the first 10 rows when transferred to the
Excel spreadsheet.
Record the results for ambient parts and transfer the atmospheric and pressure
measure step readings to the AT measure and Measure cells in the top 10 rows
