Installation
3.1 Installation
Be sure to heed all safety warnings previously given.
3.1.1 Unpacking
The Tester is supplied with a packing list showing the included components. The
components will vary depending on the tester type. If any component is missing
please contact your supplier.
The following items may be found in the shipping box.
• The user manual (on a USB drive).
• Power cord.
• Nylon tubing.
• Spare fuses.
• Pressure regulator knob (manual regulator versions only).
• Security keys (2).
3.1.2 Location
The Tester should be sited as near as possible to the test component in order to
reduce the length of test tube, and therefore the test time, and to keep the internal
volume to a minimum. In order to avoid temperature variations, which can affect
the repeatability of the readings, the complete system should be installed in a
position away from heaters and drafts. It is advisable to insulate the connecting
test-pipework. The tester must be placed on a horizontal support, free from
vibration, where there is free access to the front panel controls and connectors on
the rear panel.
