6.2.5.8 Display
The brightness can be set to any of 6 levels, from 0 (most dim) to 5 (brightest)
using the Display Brightness data box.
The display can be set to darken (timeout) after a chosen number of minutes when
the tester is not being used. This feature is enabled by placing a checkmark in the
Backlight Timeout data box. The desired duration before the backlight dims is set
in the Backlight Timeout Duration data box.
After the screen dims, touching the screen anywhere, or pressing a keypad button
or the scroll pad will return the screen to normal brightness.
You can prolong the backlight lifetime by setting the brightness level no brighter
than necessary for adequate visibility and using the backlight timeout to turn off
the display during periods of inactivity.
