3.1.4 Operating Conditions
The Qualitek mR will operate in a temperature range of 5°C to 40°C (41°F to
104°F), with a humidity range of 0 to 90% non-condensing.
3.1.5 Pneumatic Connections
The test component and air supply, or vacuum connection, should be connected to
the appropriate ports. The air supply to the tester must be clean, dry, and free from
contamination. It is recommended that an external filter/regulator should be fitted
to improve the quality of the air supply to the tester.
Be certain the supply pressure doesn’t exceed the maximum input listed on the rear
panel.
The input pressure must be at least 4 bar (60 psi) to operate the differential
transducer or differential pressure decay and pressure rise models. For other tester
models, the minimum pressure requirements are dependent on sensor and model
types.
If a manual regulator is fitted to the tester, the pressure regulation knob and spindle
will have to be installed to the regulator body.
Supply air is connected to the fitting on the back of Qualitek mR.
