8.10.4 Data Analysis
The first part of the setup procedure is to establish the calibration compensation
values required to compensate for the volume changes at atmospheric and test
pressures, which maybe due to the flexibility of the product and/or fixture. This
can only be carried out with a number of test parts, which are known to be leak-
tight, and are at the ambient temperature conditions.
The second part of the procedure will be to establish the correction factor using
production parts as they transfer down the production line from the previous
process and therefore will be at the typical temperature conditions to be corrected.
8.10.4.1 Uson Temp Comp Excel Template.
Uson provides a Temp Comp spreadsheet on the CD shipped with the tester; or you
may request one from your Uson representative. Copy the Uson Temp Excel
spreadsheet to a suitable working folder on the PC and open the spreadsheet as
shown below.
