3. ProvisiontheGigabit‐Ethernetspeedbyperformingoneofthefollowingcommands:
•Type
speed 1000,andpressENTERtoconfigurethegigabitethernetfor1000Mbps
operation
•Type
speed auto,andpressENTERtoenabletheauto‐negotiationofspeed
•ThedefaultGigabit‐Ethernetspeedisauto.
•TheAutoNegotiationsettingontheTotalAccess5000shouldbeconsistent
withtheassociatedupstreamswitchport’sAutoNegotiationsetting.
