MT8852B Operation Manual PN: 13000-00205 Rev. N D-5
Invalid Payload The payload has been corrupted and cannot be used for
measurements. Typically this would be an error in the
10101010 or 11110000 bit structure.
Invalid packet MT8852B did not receive the test packet expected
Invalid packet type Warning message from the measurement processor that the
packet received was not the type it had been requested to
measure.
LMP timeout (TC: xx
HOP: ON or OFF)
The MT8852B has sent an LMP test control to the EUT and
the EUT has not responded with an LMP accepted message.
“xx” represents the scenario number as defined in the
Bluetooth test mode specification. The following numbers
are used:
0: Pause Test Mode
3: Transmitter test – 1010 pattern
4: Transmitter test – PRBS9
5: Closed loop back – ACL packets
7: ACL packets without whitening

LMP timeout (test pause) The EUT has not sent an LMP accepted message to the Test
Pause message sent by the MT8852B.
Local/Remote BDADDR clash The MT8852B and the EUT have the same Bluetooth
address. Change the address of the EUT.
Loop: current test failed The MT8852B is running a test or script in loop mode with the
"loop stop on fail" option ON. A measurement has failed
causing the test or script to stop running.
Max number of SCO conns It is not possible to set up more than 3 SCO connections.
Max number of connections Maximum number of ACL connections.
Max power exceeded, level > 0 A warning that the power level selected including any offset is
outside of the specification of the MT8852B transmitter
range. If the TX level and the offset is > 0dBm then this
warning is displayed.
No EUT address The EUT address source is set to manual but no address has
been entered. Set an address manually .
No USB device connected The EUT address source is set to USB when a test or script
is RUN but there is no USB device connected to the EUT
control port of the MT8852B. Connect a USB device to
continue.
No connection made, timed out When attempting to establish a connection, the process
failed due to a timeout.
