Module Specifications
The F2-8AD4DA-1 Analog Current Input/Output module
provides several hardware features:
• Analog inputs and outputs are optically isolated from the
PLC logic.
• The module has a removable terminal block so the
module can be easily removed or changed without
disconnecting the wiring.
• All input and output channels are updated in one scan.
• On-board active analog filtering, two CISC microcontrollers
and CPLD provide digital signal processing to maintain
precision analog measurements in noisy environments.
• Low-power CMOS design requires only 100mA from an
external 18–26.4 VDC power supply.
• Input resolution is independently adjustable for each channel.
Users may select 12 bit, 14 bit or 16 bit.
• Output resolution is 16 bit.
• Broken transmitter detection bit (input < 2mA) for use with
4–20 mA input device.
• Each input can be independently configured to return the
present value, or to track and hold the maximum or
minimum value.
• No jumper settings.
