About CRS Applications
The Cisco CRS system uses applications to interact with contacts and perform a
wide variety of functions.
Note Cisco CRS licenses you purchase and install determine the applications available
on your system (see the “Application Availability by License Package” section on
page A-2).
Cisco CRS provides the following application types:
• Script (see Configuring Cisco Script Applications, page 6-3).
• Busy (see Configuring the Busy Application, page 6-6).
• Ring-No-Answer (see Configuring the Ring-No-Answer Application,
page 6-8).
• Remote Monitoring (see Configuring the Remote Monitoring Application,
page 6-15).
If Cisco CRS is integrated with Unified ICME, you will also need to configure
one or both of the following application types:
• Unified ICME post-routing (see Configuring the Unified ICME
Post-Routing Application, page 6-10).
• Unified ICME translation-routing (see Configuring the Unified ICME
Translation-Routing Application, page 6-13).
Note If you are not using Cisco Unified Intelligent Contact Management
Enterprise (Unified ICME) software, you do not need to configure
Unified ICME post-routing and Unified ICME translation-routing
applications. For information about these Unified ICME software
features, see the Cisco Unified ICME Scripting and Media Routing Guide.
