71-6 clear counters
Description
This command is used to clear the switch’s statistics counters.
Format
clear counters {ports <portlist>}
Parameters
ports - Specifies a range of ports to be configured. The beginning and end of the port list range
are separated by a dash.
<portlist> - Enter a range of ports to be configured.
Note: If no parameter is specified, the system will clear statistics counters for all ports.
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example
To clear the switch’s statistics counters for ports 1:7 to 1:9:
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#clear counters ports 1:7-1:9
Command: clear counters ports 1:7-1:9
Success.
