5 IMAGING FEATURES
This chapter provides detailed procedures on AV7000 setup and calibration, and on how the
AV7000 Camera System functions during normal operation. It also helps familiarize the user
with status indicator LEDs, and how the camera can be easily and quickly replaced with a
new unit if necessary.
IMPORTANT: The procedures outlined in this chapter should
only be performed by a Datalogic trained technician.

5.1 FIRST-TIME STARTUP
On initial power-up, the AV7000 performs a series of self-diagnostic and LED tests. When
the STATUS LED turns a steady green the power-up sequence is complete, and the camera
is operational.
5.1.1 Default Parameters
The AV7000 cameras are shipped from the factory with these defaults:
Default User ID: setup (case sensitive)
Default Password: DLAset (case sensitive)
Control Panel Buttons Enabled
IP address - 192.168.0.145 (setup/sync controller), 192.168.3.10 (Host), and
10.0.40.20 (Image)
Perform the following setup procedure using these defaults or configure your Barcode reader
with your application’s parameters using e-Genius.
