The length of a transient record also is user-configurable. The number of transient records
stored by the D90
Plus
is a function of the record length, the time-resolution of the recording,
and of the number of configured channels. The D90
Plus
automatically calculates the
number of transient records based on the user-defined setting values.
The transient recorder has two storage modes: protected and automatic overwrite. When
the memory is filled, either no new records are written to memory (protected mode) or the
oldest record is overwritten (automatic overwrite mode).
The D90
Plus
contains a finite amount of memory for record storage. The table shows how
transient recorder configuration affects the number of available records.
