Element Description
Anatomical Landmark Reference Point Choose a preset center point, or designate a center point with a two letter abbrevi‐
ation or 0. This should be set the same as your scout images.
Patient Orientation
Patient Position
Set the proper patient orientation and position.
Place the cursor on the head or feet of the patient and click to change the head-
first or feet-first patient orientation.
Place the cursor over the abdominal area or table base and click to rotate the pa‐
tient in 90° increments to change the patient position.
Copy Forward
Select to copy Patient Orientation and Patient Position settings from the previously
scanned series.
Auto Voice Language Click to set the Auto Voice language for the exam.
3.2.3 Scan Settings window
The
Scan Settings
window is an area on the
Scan Setup
window. Parameter fields that can be
modified are underlined. Additionally, parameter fields with small boxes next to them indicate
that a pop-up window can be opened to define more values.
NOTE:
The
Scan Settings
window will change based on the scan type selected.
