3.5 Set Image Database Preferences
Patient de-identification or anonymizing an exam electronically removes certain exam
information and replaces it with anonymous information. There are two levels to anonymizing
patient information: Full and Partial.
Use this procedure to set the annotation level for patient anonymize.

From the image monitor, click

System Preferences

From the
System Preferences
window, click the
Image Database
tab.

In the
Anonymize Patient Image Annotation Level
area, select:
Full
or
Partial
mode.
NOTE:
Full
mode is the most HIPPA-compliant.
