Use this procedure to record up to 17 additional voice messages (for each language) on your
system.
1.
From the image monitor, click .
2.
Click
Protocol Management
, then
Auto Voice Management
The
Auto Voice Management
window opens.
3. To record a message, select
Add Message
from the drop-down menu.
The new message will be created with the Auto Voice message list for the selected
language.
Every new message must have a
Name
and
Description
entered.
The
Name
and
Description
should be easily identifiable (example - Mary S. Inspiration);
this helps identify whose voice is being used and the content of the message.
4. Select
Pre
.
5. Click [Record] and begin the pre-message.
Click and hold [Record] until you are ready to begin your message. Normally, you are
recording a pre-message first (example - “Take in a breath and hold it.”). When you
release the mouse button, the recording starts.
Begin your message right away.
Speak clearly into the microphone located on the scan control interface.
6. Click [Stop] as soon as you finish speaking.
If you make a mistake, simply click [Stop] and repeat these steps.
Try to start and stop the recording as quickly as possible to avoid adding time to the
beginning or end of a message.
7. Select
Post
.
8. Click [Record] and begin the post-message.
9. Click [Save].
NOTE: An Auto Voice message can only be saved if both a pre‐message and post‐
message are recorded.
10. To hear a recorded message, select the pre-message or post-message and click [Play] in
the
Auto Voice Message
area.
3.4 Delete an Auto Voice message
You may need to remove old or unwanted messages from the system as employees change or
as different languages are required. Use this procedure to delete an Auto Voice message.
